Bio
Philip J. Martinez is a New York based Steadicam/camera operator actively working for the past 20 years. He is a member of IA 600, SOC, SOA. Philip’s work has taken him around the globe, from Cape Town, South Africa to Machu Picchu, Peru to Cappadocia in Turkey, Great Britain, and Most of North America. In New York Philip as had the pleasure of working on “Saturday Night Live” for the past 4 seasons as the Steadicam Operator for the Digital Shorts, Beast Unit, and Film unit pre tapes. Having had the pleasure of working some very long Friday’s with A list hosts, musical guests, and a terrific comedic ensemble has increased Philip’s ability to adapt to different situations and personalities with ease. Philip has also worked with MTV, VH1, ESPN, FOX, Food Network, and ABC, to name a few.
Philip resides with his Wife and Children in New York City.
